ABOUT
Welcome, friends.
After Patrick Lussier’s Dracula trilogy, the story of Father Uffizi was far from over. Together with Joel Soisson, Lussier originally envisioned Uffizi’s journey as part of a three-film arc—a holy war against darkness that never got to reach its conclusion.
When the third film (Dracula III: Legacy) didn’t lead to a continuation, the creators returned to the idea in 2010, this time reimagining it as a six-episode mini-series with a more modest budget. Sadly, that project never materialized either.
But for us—the fans—the war never ended.
We believe there’s still more to tell. More to fight for.
We’ve created this platform to reignite the flame.
Through posters, edits, videos, and petitions, we are building momentum to bring Father Uffizi back from the shadows.

UFFIZI FOREVER
1. The End of the Trilogy: Where Did Uffizi's Fate Go?
Beginning with "Dracula 2000," and continuing through "Dracula II: Ascension" and "Dracula III: Legacy," Patrick Lussier's trilogy introduced religious themes, cursed heroes, and a gothic atmosphere into the vampire mythos. At the end of the series, Father Uffizi kills Dracula—who roams as a vampire—while simultaneously descending into his own darkness. This unresolved ending strongly hinted at the continuation of Uffizi's journey.
2. The Silent Plans of Patrick Lussier and Joel Soisson
Director Patrick Lussier and screenwriter Joel Soisson had planned a sequel centered around Father Uffizi after Dracula III. This information was confirmed in a 2009 interview Lussier gave to Bloody Disgusting. However, the project never materialized.
3. The Bloody Disgusting Interview: Hints of a Future
According to Lussier, the planned storyline was as follows:
A cardinal sends Luke to Transylvania to locate Uffizi.
Luke encounters Julia, now transformed into the leader of a vampire army.
Uffizi continues his solitary battle against vampirism and his own inner darkness.
But this remained nothing more than a rough narrative skeleton.
4. What Would Have Happened in the Sequel? [Confirmed + Fan Theories]
Confirmed Elements:
Julia would become the leader of the vampires.
Luke would be sent on a holy mission to find Uffizi.
Central conflict: Uffizi’s final battle between faith and the curse within.
Fan Theories:
Uffizi might fully transform into a vampire but retain his will to continue the holy war.
A multilayered confrontation between Julia and Uffizi, mixing darkness and love.
A deeper narrative possibly reaching into Dracula’s origins or older vampiric myths.
5. Why the Project Was Never Realized: Industry Backdrop
Though Lussier pitched the film to studios, it failed to gain financial backing or distribution interest. At the time, the vampire genre was oversaturated, and a niche character like Father Uffizi was seen as commercially unviable.
Additionally, the Dracula trilogy’s direct-to-DVD release made it difficult to transition the franchise to mainstream cinema.
Conclusion:
Patrick Lussier’s dark and compelling universe lost a powerful figure in Father Uffizi. Yet, this "unclosed file" can still be brought back to light through fan initiatives like Project Uffizi. Perhaps the darkness hasn't had its final word—yet.
